In 2019, Nephi City teaming up with Recyclops to provide voluntary curbside recycling for residents. This service is easy, efficient, and as easy as taking out the trash.
What does it cost?
Recycling will cost $22 per month starting on August 1st, 2023. This cost includes the recycling bags used to collect your recycling. While this is a little higher than getting an additional trash can, recycling has the benefit of saving our landfill unnecessary use that could be recycled instead. We have seen some of our Recyclops customers reduce what would have been thrown in the landfill by 75%. What a great way to help keep Nephi clean and sustainable for years to come!
Additionally, if you need more bags you can pick up a new roll at City Hall - 21 E. 100 N.
Once you have decided to use Recyclops and filled out the application it will be added to your utility bill through Nephi City. If you decide to cancel this service it will be a one-time $10 fee, and you keep the bags.
