What Pets Need Licensing?
City Code Title 5, Chapter 2 specifies that ALL dogs need to be licensed in our city. If they are over the age of six (6) months they are required to have one.
What are the benefits of a License?
- A license is the best way to reunite you with your dog if he/she becomes lost
- A pet wearing a license tag can quickly be identified and returned to you
- If a pet is injured it ensures that the owner is identified and contacted quickly in an emergency.
