Jeramie Callaway, Councilmember Current Term: 2026 - 2030 I am a lifelong resident of Nephi, graduating from Juab High in 1991. I have been employed in the electrical contracting business for the past 26 years, focusing mainly on estimating and project management. I enjoy volunteering in the community and especially love coaching youth sports. My wife Tanielle and I are the parents of four children and one grandson and love being able to raise our family here among the wonderful residents of Nephi. I enjoy serving on the council and look forward to representing the citizens of our community.
Travis Worwood, Councilmember Current Term: 2024 - 2028 I have lived in Nephi for the majority of my life and graduated from Juab High. I have an accounting degree from UVU and an MBA from USU. I previously worked for UCCU and Nephi City. I now work for a local cattle rancher tasked with putting together a complete pasture-to-plate experience. My wife Brittany and I enjoy raising our five children in our hometown. I believe my experience in both the public and private sectors will give me a unique perspective to make sound decisions for the future of Nephi. I look forward to serving our community in this capacity.
Shari Cowan, Councilmember Current Term: 2024 - 2028 I have been a resident of the beautiful city of Nephi since 1989. I am a graduate of Juab High School & Weber State University and have been happily employed as an ultrasound Technologist for over two decades. I am a member of the Juab County Fair Board and truly love serving the people of this community. My husband Joel and I are the parents of three wonderful children. We feel fortunate for the opportunity to raise our kids in a land rich with family heritage. I am excited to serve in this capacity at such an exciting and pivotal time for Nephi!
JD Parady, Councilmember Current Term: 2024 - 2028 JD Parady was graciously accepted into Nephi's Community in 2018 when he and his wife purchased one of Nephi's iconic historical homes and restored it to its former glory. JD and April have 4 children, all of which love Nephi's local traditions and come down each summer to participate. They have 3 grandchildren. JD is a Sales Executive in technology but also enjoys working on his classic British car, playing pickleball, and volunteering with the youth in our community. JD feels fortunate to be serving on City Council, despite the unorthodox way he ended up filling the seat. JD is a passionate advocate for local business and enjoys the rural feel and people of our community.
