Nephi has a full-time City Planner to help with the increase in development. This department is tasked with plan reviews to ensure compliance with Nephi City's land use ordinance as well as business license reviews and mapping. The City Planner also reviews the city's land use ordinance, proposes proactive changes in conformance with the city's General Plan, and supervises the contract with the city's building inspector.
