We have a wonderful resource through the Utah State Library called Book Buzz. Book Buzz features books from just about any genre or theme you can think of, they continually update and add new books periodically through the year. By using book buzz we can facilitate and make available large groups of books available for your book club.

Book Buzz is an amazing tool that is kindly hosted through the Utah State Library Division. In here they have charts of books that are available, what is on hold, and some that are NEW! In order to use Book Buzz you must be a patron of our library, check the availability of the book you are looking at and then contact us with the book, number of copies you will need, and the date you would need them. Please note it can take up to two (2) weeks before they arrive.

Please call us at 435-623-1312. Providing that the book is available, we can order the book through the Utah State Library faster than you can request the book. We usually have the books shipped to us within 10 days and have them ready for you to check-out at the library.

It really depends on the book. We can ask for the book ahead of time, and tell them how long you will need for your book club. As long as no one is waiting for the book they can give us the time that you will need.

Like all good things it takes time. Shipping to us is usually 10 days, sometimes less. If there is a specific book that you will need or want to read, please request as soon as possible. Book Buzz allows us to schedule a book a year or more in advance. So planning ahead makes it lightning fast!

If the book that you really want to read is not on Book Buzz then each individual in your group will need to come in and request it from our library. We will use interlibrary loan to obtain the book for you. This is not always the fastest route, but it is effective. With interlibrary loan the book can be shipped from anywhere in the United States, shipping them to our library takes a little bit of time. Each individual will then have to pay cost of shipping the item one way at the time of pick-up.

We cannot at this point check out books to non-patrons. However, we will try to help you as best as we can. Our goal is to help you and do as much as we can to have your book club experience be a good one.
