Frequently Asked Questions

The Nephi Public Library gladly accepts book and media donations. Drop off your donations at the front desk during open hours. Books should be in acceptable physical condition.

We will not accept:

• Rated R Movies
• Books or materials that contain:
  • Mold, Items that are colored in or on, that are missing pages.

Items not added to the Library collection will be offered for sale and will fund library projects.

Material you want out? We want to introduce you to LIBRARY HOLDS. Our card catalog can help you navigate the system and place the material that is out right from the comfort of your home! Go to our card catalog, log in, and find the material you want and click HOLD. It is that easy!

Need more help? You can come into the library and ask us, or call us by phone at 435-623-1312. When the material becomes available, we will call you and you have three (3) business days to pick-up the material.

We are currently seeking members for the Friends of the Library.  This service is one of great importance to us, it serves as a volunteer board for Summer Reading Programs and for special Storytime programs throughout the year. We consider this a top priority as we move forward with new changes in our library. If you are interested please contact our library at (435)623-1312.

Fines and fees may be paid at the Circulation Desk by cash, check, debit or credit cards. We do not accept AMEX at this time.

The library encourages children and parents to recommend books that should be considered for purchase! Please contact a librarian by coming into the library, calling 435-623-1312, or Email the Public Library.

Patrons can request materials that are not available in our library, by coming into the library, calling by phone at 435-623-1312, or Email the Public Library. You must have the author and title information to request a book, it takes 3 to 6 weeks for materials to be obtained; and we ask that Patrons pay the return postage for the item.
