Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum

In the old county courthouse at Main Street at Center is the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum.  It is run by the International Society Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, a society “dedicated to perpetuating the names and achievements of those men, women, and children who founded Utah.”  They seek to preserve historic landmarks and educate thousands of school children and citizens about their pioneer ancestors.  The museum includes many artifacts specifically from the early years of Mormon settlement in Nephi, including rustic pioneer furniture, timeless photos of the dedicated men and women who sacrificed so much to create our community, and other exhibits and displays illustrating the way of life of Nephi’s founders.  Tours are given by appointment only.  Contact (435) 623-5202.
